lostmydoggie.comWe are currently in the process of updating the web site to make it more informative. It will be updated once a month, if applicable.

As with most nonprofit organizations, we depend greatly on volunteers. You must be 14 years of age and commit to AT LEAST 4 hours per month to be a part of the Paws & Claws Volunteer Program. You must also attend one orientation meeting before starting your volunteer hours. We are also looking for volunteers to become a member of our disaster team. Starting the month of April of 2009 Stephanie Dicke the shelter manager will be on the radio. She will be on every Wed. at 9 am on KLIR (101.1 FM). She will be talking about various that are available for adoption.

The yard project that took place on the 26th of April went well. The Columbus High School Diversity Leadership Group did a great job with the planters and getting the yard ready for planting. Fallowing the planning was Yappy Hour where Root beer and cookies where served.

The volunteer of the month for May is Sue Fricke. The staff and animals thank you for all of your time.
